Pascale Girard has extensive experience in corporate law, securities law and capital markets transactions. She advises in particular on mergers and acquisitions and also advises listed companies on corporate governance matters.

Before co-founding VGG & Associés in 2013, she had been a partner at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier since 1 January 2009, which she joined in 2006 and where she headed the firm’s capital markets practice.

From 2000 to 2006, she was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, first in New York and then in Paris. She began her career in 1998 at Moquet Borde & Associés.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 1998 and to the New York Bar since 2000, Pascale Girard holds a postgraduate degree (DESS–DJCE) in business law and taxation and a postgraduate research degree (DEA) in private international law and international business law from the University of Paris II – Panthéon-Assas. She is also a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University (United States).

Yann Grolleaud

Yann Grolleaud has extensive experience in transaction tax and international tax matters. He has developed particular expertise in the taxation of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and private equity transactions. He has also built a significant practice in wealth and estate taxation for family-owned groups and their shareholders, entrepreneurs and investors, notably assisting them with the structuring, holding and transfer of their equity assets.

He also regularly assists his clients in pre-litigation and litigation matters with the tax authorities, before all competent courts.

Before co-founding VGG & Associés in 2013, he had been a partner at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier since 1 January 2009, which he joined in 2006 and where he developed and headed the tax department from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP and began his career at Arthur Andersen International.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 1998, Yann Grolleaud holds a postgraduate degree (DESS–DJCE) in business law and taxation from the Robert Schuman University of Strasbourg.

Frédéric Grillier

Frédéric Grillier focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions (involving listed and unlisted companies) as well as on private equity transactions. He is recognized for his experience in corporate law and securities law, and regularly acts on cross-border transactions for French and international clients. He also advises investment funds on leveraged acquisitions.

He was previously a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills in Paris, which he joined in 2002 after working at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Paris and New York.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 1995, Frédéric Grillier is a graduate of the University of Paris II – Assas and of ESCP Business School, and holds an MBA from Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA).

Frédéric Fuchs

Frédéric Fuchs’ practice covers the different aeras of competition law (i.e., merger control and antitrust) and distribution law (structuring of distribution networks, negotiation of commercial agreements, restrictive trade practices).

Frédéric was previously a partner at Ayache, where he created and headed the Competition-Distribution practice for more than eight years. Before then, Frédéric worked in the competition practices of Anglo-Saxon law firms, before founding Fuchs Cohana Reboul & Associés, where he practiced for ten years.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2000, Frédéric Fuchs holds a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in European Community Law from Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg.

Lucile Delahaye

Lucile Delahaye is a counsel in the firm’s competition and distribution department. Lucile’s practice covers the different aeras of competition law and distribution law.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2012, Lucile joined the firm after working for French law firms in Paris, most recently at Ayache. She holds a Master’s degree 2 in European Law from the University of Paris 2 Panthéon Assas, as well as an LLM from Queen Mary University of London and a double master’s in business law and management sciences from the University Paris Dauphine.

Aurélie Damaggio

Aurélie acts predominantly in business law and in particular on public and private mergers and acquisitions.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2022, Aurélie holds a Master’s degree in Business Law (Master 2 Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise) from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole and a Specialized Master’s degree (Mastère Spécialisé Juriste Manager International) from EM Lyon Business School.

Djouher Hammoumi

Djouher Hammoumi specializes in competition and distribution law.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021, Djouher joined the firm after two initial experiences in competition law and distribution law within French law firms in Paris, most recently at Ayache. She holds a Master 2 in European Union and WTO law from (University of Rennes).

Tazio Jaegle

Tax law

Tazio is an associate in the firm’s tax department. His main areas of practice are transaction taxation and international taxation. He also advises on the wealth taxation of corporate executives and managers

Admitted to the Paris Bar, Tazio joined the firm after five years with Anglo-Saxon firms in Paris. He holds a Master’s Degree 2 in International Taxation from the University of Paris 2 Panthéon Assas, as well as a double Master’s Master in Business Law and Finance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne.

Tazio is a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

Victoire Pinson

Véronique Bringer

Office Manager

Véronique is the office manager of the firm.

She is in charge of administrative aspects as well general organization of the firm: secretariat, accounting, invoicing, general services, communication and follow-up on recruitment.

Previously an assistant at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, Véronique has been working with the founding partners for nearly twenty years and has been with the firm since its creation in 2013.
